EMPLOYEES PROVIDENT FUND STAFF UNION

BYE LAWS

The name of the Union shall be Employees Provident Fund Staff Union.

1. b) Address of the Union shall be :
   Bhavishyanidhi Bhavan
   Dr. Balasundaram Road,
   Coimbatore - 641 018.
   c) There shall be Branch Units at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Ambattur and Tambaram and further Branch Units shall be formed as and when any further SRO, SAO of EPFO of opened in Tamil Nadu Region.
   d) Zonal Training Institutes, Internal Audit wind are attached to the Branch unit at Chennai, District Office of EPFO are attached to concerned jurisdiction of SRO, SAO, R.O Units.
   e) Duties, Constitution, meetings and general fund of Branch units shall be as per Annexure.
2. The Objects of the Union shall be
   a) To regulate the relations between the member and their employer;
   b) To render help to the members by constitutional methods;
   c) To secure to them fair conditions of life and work.
   d) To endeavour to redress their grievances.
   e) To Provide relief to members against sickness old age unemployment and death.
   f) To endeavour to settle disputes between the members and their employer.
   g) To promote the civic and cultural interests of members and to foster a spirit of co-operation fraternity and reciprocity by organising social and cultural activities.
   h) To guide the members of the union towards rendering efficient and loyal service to the national by engendering enthusiasm and patriotic service amongst themseleves.
   i) To co-operate and federate with organization of employees of other regions of the Employees provident fund.
   j) To do all other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them provided that the non-political character of the Union is not infringed upon.
